ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2023
The 10th Annual General Meeting of FoSC will be held on Tuesday April 25th at Central United Reformed Church, Norfolk Street, Sheffield, S1 2JB, 6pm for a 6:30 start.
Dear Member
We invite you to our Annual General Meeting which will be held in person at the Central United Reformed Church, Norfolk Street, Sheffield.
We will present the Reports of the Officers and vote for Committee Members. All Committee Members stand down annually but are eligible for re-election. All Members of FoSC are also eligible to stand for committee. If you wish to stand for election, please send in your nomination by 14th April to the Secretary (Anna Badcock – contact details below) with a short statement (100 words or less) outlining why you are standing and what you can bring to the committee.
The current Committee Members are: Martin Gorman (Chair); Anna Badcock (Secretary); Glynis Jones (Treasurer); John Moreland; Clive Waddington; George Charnley-Shaw; Ron Clayton; Nick Robinson; Hermann Beck; David Clarke; Leigh Bramall; Ruth Morgan.
Robert Hall who has been co-opted to the Committee will apply to be a full Committee Member
Only fully paid-up Members may vote at the meeting. Membership renewals were due in January. If you need to renew your membership (not necessary if you pay by Paypal or standing order), or check your membership status, please contact the FoSC Membership Secretary, details below.
Prior to the AGM formalities, we will be joined by a representative of Sheffield City Council Design Team who will talk through the plans for the Castle site followed by the opportunity to ask questions.
